ya damn scammers i get 3 of these daily and dont even got a paypal account thats how stupid those guys are who are sending those phisihing emails :D

paypal always addresses with your name in the emails so if it says user or recipient you know its fake

if by accident you do receive an email with your name in it theres still a very big chance its a phishing email.

never click a link in a paypal or alertpay email unless its a reply to something you requested, like a password reset.   

in all other cases just open a new browser and type in your info.  if theres any truth to the message in the email you will always find the details in your account
