Attempt to hack some users accounts on forum
« on: February 11, 2011, 11:32:56 PM »
:) in past 2 days there have been some tries to hack some members accounts here in forum , the hacker managed to log to 2 members accounts here in forum ( from 1st try ) , we think this is because those members used same passwords in another forums or ptc sites which he has access to it , so he managed to find their passes in these forum (s) and he tried it here

so for all our members here , please be sure to use a unique password on each site you are in this is better for safety and to prevent anyone from accessing your accounts

thanks

lol, i can´t believe what i read here, but thx for the notification, seems that some ppl do not really care about their privacy online.
If they do the same in real life ...?

most people give less care to somethings online
if not financial info they will mostly use simple passwords or share some things in many places
it's always advisable to use a unique pass in each place , password generators and safe storage of it is the best way to avoid such problems

Btw, if you find some that works integrated with ff 4, please tell us.
I am using Kaspersky Passworm Manager in ff3, which is splendid to me, but as far as I know, does not work with ff4 yet.

In time, found some news
