there a lot of contest in PTC
here are my view about contest
1. Add funds event  ;D
2. a time to fill up your site with inactive members, sometime a member give PTSU event, and who signup never click again  =:))
3. a cheater time, see number 2  :D
4. admin want to give away some profit to rrrr..... 3 member of the site  >:)
5. ....(fill it please)

contests do add funds, both for admins and members
is that such a bad thing?
just stay away from sites that already show signs of payout delays and you can make a profit

good admins will filter out the cheats and a lot of them won't allow ptsu.
they won't catch them but they can catch a lot

i like contests  ;D

I do agree with you. Most site that promise too much usually can deliver, even when these site wanted to fulfill the promise. That is basically what happen to my site. I promised great prizes, but my partner, who was the one financed everything, quit, because he could not make even within a year. I was forced to break the news to the people who joined, but luckily there were people who stay with me and now my site is still running.

This experience taught me not to promise what I can not deliver. Which is why I will suggest keeping everything that is being promised deliverable
